Challenge

Breaking into New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is notoriously difficult for emerging brands. NeuThrone needed to bypass traditional gatekeeping while addressing growing anxieties around AI surveillance, deepfakes, and creative exploitation. The goal: launch a brand that feels like a movement, not a product line.

Strategic Approach


AI as Both Tool and Target


We co-developed NeuThrone’s VISIONARIES sunglasses—luxury eyewear embedded with “deepfake camouflage” designed to disrupt AI facial recognition systems. Inspired by adversarial machine learning techniques, this technology creates visual noise that confuses AI algorithms, effectively preventing them from copying the wearer’s face.


Viral Mythmaking via Conspiracy Culture


To generate buzz, we crafted a fictional narrative involving influencers being detained at NYFW for wearing NeuThrone sunglasses. Videos depicting these staged events circulated on TikTok, fueling theories about government collusion and AI surveillance. This guerrilla storytelling approach turned NeuThrone into a symbol of resistance against technological overreach .


Creator Spotlight Series


NeuThrone’s Creator Spotlight Series highlighted artists like K.C. Wolf, an actor and filmmaker challenging Hollywood norms. These profiles underscored NeuThrone’s commitment to empowering creatives who defy conventional pathways, reinforcing the brand’s ethos of rebellion and innovation.
